We Are Experts

in a small and medium business

TBA & Oil Warehouse is an Indianapolis locally owned and operated auto parts distributor since 1956. We Are now in our 3rd generation of family ownership.

We are a member of the Federated Auto Parts buy group and an ACDelco DDG. We specialize in name brands such as ACDelco, Raybestos, Dorman, Goodyear, ANco, Spectra, Premium, Motocraft, Loctite, Fel-Pro, Champion, Hastings, Standard Motor Products, and Federated private label products.

This Indianapolis-based company has its roots in the heart of the Midwest. After inheriting a parts distribution business from their father, brothers Kim and Carl Crouse, formed TBA & Oil Warehouse and set up shop in the former Gulf Oil bulk plant on S. State Street.

We’ve come a long way from when our counter was a four-foot-long board, the deliver fleet was a single old Ford panel truck, and A/C was something other people had. In 2002, we settled in at 2425 E. 30th Street, where we continue to operate TBA just as it was in the beginning, with customer satisfaction as our top priority.

With six locations – Indianapolis, Carmel, Avon, Greenwood, Anderson and Muncie – today’s third generation partners, Charlie Crouse and Ryan Wrege, are young, educated, and computer literate. They think as hard as they work, and have the vision to carry TBA forward.

TBA distributes third-generation national brands to our large and loyal three-generation customer base. But we don’t just have customer, we have partners.

We ask for Customer Partner participation by communication with us regarding any problem – big or small – regarding price, quality, or service. Our customer intimacy, and the evolving focus on the needs of our Customer Partners, gives TBA insigh to understand our partners’ needs.

It is somewhat of a collegial atmosphere, where we grow together and continually learn how to serve you better.

Technology has and will continue to change our industry. Today’s business climate demands that we do more with less – except where technology is concerned. We realize that doing more means more technology.

To rise to that challenge, TBA has invested heavily in computer capability and training. This underwrites our ability to continue to grow, allowing us to meet the needs of our customers, whether they are part of the Central Indiana professional auto service community or beyond. It is just another way to that we are Accepting, Adapting, and Acting.
